This memorial page honors the friends who helped shape the heart of our community. Their passion for the stars — and for the people around them — continues to guide and inspire AstroWorld.
They will always be remembered, always appreciated, and forever part of our journey.
At AstroWorld, our community has always been built on friendship, shared curiosity, and a deep love for the night sky. From time to time, we lose members who touched our lives in meaningful ways. This space is dedicated to honoring those friends whose passion, kindness, and enthusiasm continue to inspire us.

Pete joined AstroWorld in 2023 and instantly became an important part of our family. His depth of knowledge in astronomy and astrophotography was remarkable, and he generously shared it with everyone who wanted to learn.
On a personal level, Pete was a close friend. We spoke weekly about imaging, life, and everything in between. During NEAF, he stayed at my home, and we shared an unforgettable week — including a hockey game and some long-overdue face-to-face time I will always treasure.
I considered him both a mentor and a dear friend. His passing after a tragic hockey accident affected all of us profoundly. His wisdom, humor, and warmth will never be forgotten.

Nigel was with AstroWorld from the very beginning. He was one of the first viewers to ask a question on our show — a small moment that started a wonderful friendship. We often chatted through instant messenger, sharing stories about imaging, equipment, the latest challenges, and life beyond astronomy.
He was endlessly positive, always encouraging others, and a gifted astrophotographer. Even during difficult times, we stayed connected, talking about the cosmos or whatever he was facing.
Nigel was a true friend, and he is deeply missed.
