Hailing from Chicago, Eric Watson’s love of the stars started at an early age, his Navy time sparked his imagination with nothing but the stars above in the middle of the ocean. It’s truly awe inspiring. During my travels, he was able to see constellations in both hemispheres, and his interest in astronomy grew even more.

Fast forward to December 2017, Belvidere, IL. he received a gift that changed his life, the Celestron Nexstar 8Se and joys of sharing this hobby with his children. He uses it now for planetary imaging and visual astronomy with his family. I still have a long way to go, says Eric and I’m always learning, but I am now able to also share my experiences and the knowledge I have gathered in this short amount of time.

I am so humbled and grateful to be a part of AstroWorld TV. I have made some great friends in this hobby, all sharing our love of the stars. I am so looking forward the new innovations in the years to come, and meeting and making new friends along the way.
